If you’re looking for professional design advice to help you make confident decisions when working on your period home — without committing to a full-scale project — Designer for a Day is the perfect blend of support and flexibility.  You will have exclusive access to my design expertise for the day both in person and remotely, the result being a plan that supports your choices helping you make positive steps forward in bringing your ideas to life.

We’ll start with a short pre-visit questionnaire so I can learn about your goals, style, character and heritage of your property with all its charm and of course, unique considerations. This is also an opportunity to share images of the relevant areas of your home and inspiration images are very welcome if you have them. Then I’ll join you at home for a 3-hour design session, complete with fabric and finish samples to spark your creativity. We’ll walk through layouts, lighting; any specific challenges — whether that’s working sympathetically with original features or finding a comfortable balance between old and new.

 

Back at the studio, I’ll spend a further 3 hours shaping your bespoke design direction.
